Another great-value meal at The Dog Beck whilst on a visit to Penrith. A good portion of chips with my schwarma wrap. Managed to find a trio of unopened sauces to complement my meal. Staff here work incredibly hard and are always friendly. It was a shame that all the seats around the inviting fire were taken when we arrived.
On entry very busy somewhat hard to find a table. Service was average with clean tables. As per weatherspoon fashion a long walk to the toilets. Food was nice and so were the drinks . Not the best but still nice stop for something to eat. Toilets could do the with a clean especially around the urinals because it seems people can’t control themselves.
Our first visit to Penrith. The Penrith people were friendly. Lovely wee town. Decided to have breakfast here. It was was good breakfast aside from over dried bacon. It was good value too. Staff were friendly and the place were clean and tidy. Toilet were clean too.
