Generally the staff there are kind, friendly and helpful. However tonight I encountered a staff member who seemed to had malfunctioned in the social service department. Perhaps i looked funny. Perhaps i wore flares. Perhaps it was because i was taking ages to open my carrier bag and she found that funny. Then that turned raw when i flipped the basket away half on the rack. Ohhhh those daggers, blondy. Those daggers. I turned my head as i felt her eyes just, staring? I ask, "you alright?" , she goes, "uh yeah" with a quarter smug attempt. So i think, what ya staring for then hun? Witnessing the smigger with her older colleague as i left the store.... Whoever you are, staff member who was at the self service cashier at 7:50pm on Wednesday 11th February, 26'. Long bleach blonde, make up, looks about late 20s or in the 30s. ... You're at work, serving customers. Just a reminder.

Edited in 19/02/2026... i recieved no offer of support when using self service today despite it being clearly obviois I was struggling, whilst two employees stood chatting. I won't be using the store again. It was a very painful and depressing expreience qhilst using my wheelchair. Despite the range this shop ogferes, how I am treated means the nost to me. Not my favourite Sainsburys but good.okay selection. Self scan challenging in wheelchair. Toilets not that clean and below the store.

A great supermarket with a good selection of products. Generally shop here as it's one of the few who seem to stock all those random ingredients kids need for cooking lessons at school. I would give it 5 stars as it's a good supermarket, however, the lack of changing facilities means I rarely buy clothing here as I can't try anything on and I live too far away to 'pop back and return items', therefore on that basis only I've gone for 4 stars as a changing room would be necessary for 5 stars.
