So great to find a reliable honest garage. They reviewed my van problem on the spot with no charge. Fantastic service. They even found time to look at my car as the management light came on as we set off for the airport, they sorted it there and then. Lifesavers.

My car broke down and my break down service dropped my car off outside Thompson's after hours so the next morning I called them up and asked if they could put my car on the diagnostic system to find out what was wrong with it. Mark the mechanic I spoke to said he would try to get it done the next day this was great as I had previously called them to accept my car for the breakdown to drop off my car there but had been told they could not take it as they had too much work on. I was on holiday and was 61 miles away from home. I called Mark everyday to see if they had managed to fit my car in and on Friday afternoon I was given the great news that they had my car on the diagnostic system and had found out the problem and where replacing the faulty part. It was Saturday morning when I was able to pick up my car with great relief as my so call car emergency assistance just stranded me and my disabled wife at the garage and would not provide the national recovery I thought they would provide. Please double check your T & C on your break down service. As A bonus I've had my C3 Air Cross Stop/Start for 2 years and the S/Start has never worked but after the camshaft senser had been replaced by Thompson's I was very surprised to find it now works. I cannot thank Mark and all the friendly staff at Thompson's enough for fixing my car and being helpful.
