Thanks to the sate of the roads nowadays, hit a massive pothole and got a puncture while on a few days away in the lakes. Managed to get booked in straight away for two new tyres and an alignment at a good price. Was refreshing to see tyre fitters correctly torquing wheel bolts with a torque wrench, unlike the majority now just wanging them back up, and over tightening them, with an impact wrench.
On my way up north and had a blow out on the motorway. Submitted a request for help by my AA app, said expecting to be there in 2 hours. Called Harold’s garage, lovely lady on the phone went through everything with me and my options, gave them my location, a lovely gentleman was with me in 10 mins, (cancelled my AA call out), inspected all my tyres, he changed the blown out tyre for me and the guy was super lovely, kind and helpful!!!!! Couldn’t thank them enough!!
Had my car MOT done, and i expected a fail, which it did. They quoted me a price to fix it, and it went back in for repair. It turned out it didn't need the most expensive part, as they 1st thought, but needed something else. It ended up costing £200 less than the quote. I can not fault the service they gave.
