About
A small mosque known locally as Baitul Aman Mosque, this community centre serves as a place of worship for Penrith’s Muslim residents and travellers passing through. Located near Bluebell Lane Car Park, it provides prayer facilities and wudhu areas for visitors. The mosque is recognised for its accessibility to those on long journeys, with parking available nearby. The imam is known to assist newcomers, and the space is maintained for daily prayers. Travellers often stop here when visiting the Lake District. The entrance can be tricky to locate, so checking directions beforehand is advised.
Customer Reviews
This is a mosque in a small town in the UK called Baitul Uman Mosque. You can offer your prayers here while going on a long journey. Parking here is not a problem. There is a parking lot right in front of the mosque. You can easily cross your car and offer your prayers. It is a very peaceful place. This is a small town and a very small Muslim community lives here and whenever you get a chance to pray here, pray here and meet the Imam. The Imam is a very good natured person and also donate for the mosque here because the mosque is running only because of Muslim donations, so you can come here and offer your peaceful prayers. If I may speak for myself, I have had the opportunity to pray here and I prayed here and I felt very relieved that there is a small mosque in a small town where you can offer your prayers and worship. The Door Always open for prayers and Worship. JazakAllah Khair
A welcoming and peaceful place of worship. Penrith Masjid is a beautiful and well-maintained mosque with a warm, inclusive atmosphere. The facilities are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully organized, and the community is genuinely welcoming to all—locals and visitors alike. Friday khutbahs are insightful, and the leadership is committed to both spiritual growth and community support. It’s truly a blessing to have this masjid in the area. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful space to pray or learn.
