A fenced playground with swings and play equipment for children, alongside a football pitch that provides space for running and games. Generations of local families have used the green space, known locally as the Rec, for outdoor play. There are benches for seating and a small play park with various activities. The enclosed layout makes it a practical spot for young children to play safely.

It's an okay little park for your littles to burn off some energy and run about. It's closed in making it safer for them with various little play bits. There's only one bench to sit down on if I remember rightly so if there are other families there you may not get a seat unless you sit on the grass. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of litter in this park too so keep your eyes out for that if you have toddlers.
Love the footy pitch allows a lot to offer for children, gives them a large amount of space to play around in. There is also some swings and other obstacles that create a great experience for anybody.
Big open space for your kids to go nuts and wear themselves out + there's a small play park.... Generations of us Castletown kids have grown up playing on the Rec Hands in the air for Castletown 😉
