About

A compact caravan park on the outskirts of Penrith with level pitches and clean, well-maintained facilities, including toilets and showers. It’s a short walk from the town centre, with easy access to supermarkets and local attractions. Nearby, a nature reserve provides peaceful walking routes. The site is known for its proximity to cycling paths and its straightforward, no-frills approach to camping. Trains pass nearby, and some visitors note the hum of distant industry, but the park remains a practical base for exploring the area. Pitches are available with or without electric hook-up.

This has to be one of our favourite places to stay while touring up north.|We stayed at the start of our journey here and loved the cleanliness, proximity to town plus great cycling routes. We brought our little electric bikes and Andrew and his lovely wife the owner was more than happy to give directions.|Such a friendly couple who make this site so nice. Everything is spotless and so well looked after you can see it's loved with pride. We loved it also so much so we booked for 2 days on our return journey |Can't wait to to return to this gorgeous site.

I received a warm welcome at this compact campsite. All pitches are immaculately kept. £20 for non EHU & £25 for EHU. The sanitary block is clean & tidy. There are plenty toilets & basin, but only 1 shower for men (50p for 5 minutes) & one for women (50p for 7 minutes). There is grey waste, water fill up, Elsan Point, rubbish / recycling. There’s some lovely walks straight from the site, and the centre of Penrith is only 300m down the road. Free wifi is available across the site and is a very decent speed. I’d highly recommend this site.

Basic but adequate facilities, clean and tidy. Location good…Small site tucked away but surprisingly noisy at night we felt…hum of industry/factories somewhere close by. Train line busy up until about 11pm and before 6am which woke me up as a light sleeper. Not particularly cheap so 50p for the one shower was a bit of much really…lacking in personality overall…
