About

A café in Keswick serving breakfast and light bites with a focus on coffee and sourdough-based dishes. The menu includes avocado on toast with rhubarb jam, Asian mushrooms on sourdough, and vegan options. Coffee is a highlight, with flat whites and matcha mentioned, alongside fresh juices. Cakes feature lemon and white chocolate varieties. The space is dog-friendly. Previously housed inside George Fisher, it now operates from a standalone location.

Visited for breakfast. Excellent all round. Atmosphere really nice, with good background music but quiet enough to talk. The menu was really interesting and quite unique - the sourdough toast with rhubarb jam and avocado toast (with jam and nuts) were highlights. The flat white coffee was also excellent. Will definitely be back when in Keswick again!

My favourite place in Keswick. I’m here most days, so I’ve worked my way through about 90% of the menu. The coffee and matcha are always a solid 10/10, and there’s a great range of fresh juices to choose from. A slice of cake is an absolute must, and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and flavourful. The atmosphere is casual and laidback, with friendly faces behind the counter every time. On Saturdays, they’ve recently started offering an evening menu, offering something new and exciting each week. There’s plenty of choice for both vegans and vegetarians, sweet and savoury. They also serve natural wine, cider, and craft beer, which is a definite bonus. Great drinks, great food, great people — can’t recommend it enough.

The best little cafe in Keswick. We’ve gone several times when it used to be inside George Fisher, and this trip was our first visit to the new location. We went twice - I had the avocado on toast the first time, and the breakfast royale the second. Both were absolutely delicious, but the breakfast royale sandwich was something special! Elm cafe also has the best coffee in Keswick by far. Already looking forward to our next visit.
