About
A burger restaurant in Keswick serving creatively themed dishes, The Round is known for its mountain-inspired burgers like the St Sunday Crag with beef and Yorkshire pudding or the Katsu Bells with katsu sauce. The menu includes loaded fries, nachos, and crinkle-cut fries, alongside sides such as mac and cheese and kimchi slaw. Some burgers feature harissa or other bold flavours. Cocktails are available, and queues often form, suggesting a busy spot. Vegetarian options appear on the menu, and takeaway is possible. The connection to local landscapes is reflected in the naming of dishes.
Customer Reviews
Stopped in for a meal and honestly loved it. The chicken burger was really tasty, served on a soft bun with fresh toppings, and the crinkle-cut fries were hot, crispy, and hard to stop eating. The sauce on the side was a nice bonus and worked perfectly with the fries. And the cheesecake… wow. Super creamy, not too sweet, and topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle, and crunchy crumbs. It was easily the highlight of the meal. Everything looked great, portions were generous, and the food delivered. Would definitely come back and recommend giving it a try. and an extra special thank you to the staff tonight as they definitely helped make the experience thank you nacho and the gang 🫶
Wow! Absolutely incredible little place. Great service throughout, great vibe, incredible burgers! Didn't take much deciding when I seen the St Sunday Crag burger. Beef and Yorkshire pudding in a burger! It was absolutely amazing, and not badly priced . Can't wait to go back !
Absolutely incredible experience at The Round! 🍔🔥 If you’re looking for the best burger in the Lake District, look no further. I had the Katsu Bells burger and Pullvellyn burger and it was cooked to perfection and super juicy and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is fantastic, very cool, laid-back, and modern, making it the perfect spot to refuel after a day of hiking around Derwent Water. The staff were super friendly and attentive even though it was quite busy. Plus, the location right in the heart of Keswick (Market Square) is unbeatable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Lakes! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
