I visited the Grape Tree store in Keswick and purchased £51 worth of goods, receiving a 10% in-store discount. However, just five minutes after my purchase, I noticed that there was a 20% discount available online. I immediately returned to the cashier to request a refund so I could repurchase the items online with the better offer. Unfortunately, the cashier, although polite and friendly, was unable to process the refund, stating that the till would not balance. I found this quite disappointing, especially since the transaction had just been made moments earlier and the refund request was simple and reasonable. As a loyal and regular customer who shops at Grape Tree every month, I expected a smoother and more flexible experience. This situation left me quite dissatisfied and I hope Grape Tree can improve their in-store customer service and refund process in the future.
Lovely shop and staff. Great selection of raw wholefood ingredients. Prices are also good although some are better online. Definitely recommend!
I loved the range and variety of nuts. Excellent value for money. Just my personal opinion; a medium pack of cloves e.g 200g would be great (the 1kg was too big & the little tub too small). The lady in the shop was very helpful, thanks.
