Love this shop. Used to come here as children where my parents would hire me walking boots when on holiday at the Lakes (until we grew big enough to make it worth buying some). This year I came to hire some little walking shoes for my two girls (2&4 yes old). £15 for a week for a pair of very good quality shoes is well worth it if you ask me, saves buying (and storing) multiple pairs of shoes or boots that they won't wear all year round. The actual shoes and boots for sale aren't cheap but the advice and expertise of the staff is very useful.
Have spent many a holiday in the Lakes one day of which is usually a visit to Keswick for shopping and a lunch. For outdoor clothes George Fishers is ideal. Excellent range at reasonable prices.
