The shop itself is fine and decently stocked but BEWARE the ATM outside. It clearly states no fees for UK bank cards and free cash withdrawal but I just got charged a £2 fee on my UK card for using it.
Great shop with loads of local produce including kendal mint cake, mr vikkis sauces, wild and fruitful jams/sauces, local beers, cheeses and meats. Great place to stop by if you’re looking for gifts relating to the Lake District!
Friendly service, and we loved our Lakeland Ice-cream cornets which were great value. We also picked up a freshly brewed coffee, which had to be the best price in town. Thank-you for making our day.
