About
This independent cinema and theatre complex in Hulme screens a mix of independent films and blockbusters across multiple screens, with wheelchair access throughout. Alongside screenings, it hosts festivals, exhibitions, theatre performances, and cultural events. The venue has a café serving coffee and croissants, plus a restaurant with pizza. Film passes are available, though some major releases may be excluded. Known for its involvement in Manchester’s cultural calendar, it’s a venue for animation festivals, Japan Week, and Black History Month events. Comedy, music, and new talent performances also feature.

I have been coming to HOME five times for Manchester Animation Festival in 2017, 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025! It is the perfect venue for the festival. The cinemas, event space, restaurant and cafe have been outstanding during my visits.

Very wheelchair friendly. All cinema screens are wheelchair accessible and some of them have wheelchair friendly seats at the back. Step free access everywhere as far as I've seen and multiple wheelchair accessible toilets. Highly recommend a pint of Jubel which is a gluten free peach beer.
