The member of staff was very friendly and welcoming, had a great selection of cheeses, jams and meats, got recommended a local smoked cheddar and it paired beautifully with the mezze platter. I recommend anyone in town pay this place a visit! I Would definitely visit again if back in Keswick.
Hayley prepared a stunning cheese tower for our wedding on 31st May. It looked and tasted exceptional - all our wedding guests were amazed. It's definitely a fantastic alternative to a traditional wedding cake! Thank you Hayley and team!
Came in here to choose some cheeses for a cheeseboard, asked for a large piece of brie to be cut in half which she said she couldn't do as couldn't leave any pieces under 100g. This was more than we wanted but woman serving was quite patronising and made us feel like cheapskates for being on a 'budget' (which we werent!). We wanted to get 4 cheeses but ended up leaving with just 2 (and not the brie!). Went over to Booths cheese counter and was served by a friendly guy who gave huge samples of whatever we wanted and was happy to cut cheese to whatever size! We won't bother next time.
