Cineworld - Didsbury

I went today for the 40 year anniversary viewing of Labyrinth which was great to see. I love the mix of the Old and the new stuff thats shown here. There was an older gentleman who is a member of Cineworld staff he is always curtious and very helpful when Ive seen him in the past. I am an access member and always using walking aides, unfortunately sometimes my companion cant come with me. As I got out of the lift I was trying to look and see on my ticket which was on my phone which screen the film was showing on. As I was doing this he approached me and asked if I was ok, I told him I was just checking which screen I needed to go to and he said I can show you to the screen no problem. I checked and saw it was screen 4 and looked and said its ok and can see which side I need now but thank you very much. I could then see he was actually with a brush and shovel and sweeping the upstairs seating and tables area. He then told me it I wanted and needed to wait I could sit and one of the tables and chairs. I declined politely but I thought I have to leave a positive review because he is always impeccable when I see him, he always goes above and beyond. People are blind to older people in the work force and think wrongly they serve no purpose. This gentleman has helped me previously and actually is the one who got me to sign up for the unlimited card because he told me more about it without a hard sell. He is a lovely man and always takes his time to help people. He's the sort of person I see doing the right thing when no one's watching and those sort of people are precious in any work environment so I hope he is noticed by his colleagues and management.

Awful cinema. Screen quality isn’t great, they don’t check tickets, so go in for free as did many people and yet we paid. Don’t recycle the 4D glasses they just waste them. We watched avatar in 4D thinking it would be nice. Never again my arm hurts and even my neck after being shaken about so so much like an earthquake the chairs are too violent.

4DX is absolutely brilliant here. Excellent force feedback and it really makes you feel part of the movie! Additional options exist on the seats to switch off water effects at the click of a button. Saw Tron: Ares here and want to go for a second watch! Amazing, amazing, amazing! It's so awesome here that I feel like trying for a part-time position whilst studying at film school :D
