Just been for Sunday lunch with some friends. Very good service, quick & the food was lovely. Selection of lamb, beef & scampi had in the group. Plenty of it - & they brought some decent sized plates of mixed veg to go along with it & a load of gravy. Was well worth the price - which for a Sunday lunch was pretty good for £15. We will come again - & the Guinness wasn't bad either!
We needed somewhere dog friendly and were booking last minute, so we felt very lucky to get a room here. It’s a pub/inn with on site parking, which was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pub itself was great with loads of drink choices and a large food menu. It also catered well for gluten free, which was a big plus. The inn/hotel side was good overall. The room was a little dated and could use a bit of TLC, but that’s probably more personal taste than anything. The bed was comfy and all the amenities we needed were available. I’d definitely recommend this place and would happily book here again in the future!
We stopped at Twa Dog by chance following a long walk! Luckily we got a table! The service was fantastic and the staff accommodated well for my 5 and 7 year old. Food was delicious, in fact, it was the best roast dinner I have had for a long time!! I had turkey and my husband had lamb! 10/10! It’s a shame we live so far away but if we are ever in the area again, we will be back! Thank you!
