Their honey toast is something else. The focaccia that I ate before even thinking about taking a picture was also amazing. And the coffee was great to boot! Definitely go here!
This is such a great neighbourhood bakery. The sourdough is the best you will find for miles around. Then there is a plethora of sweet and savoury options. Personal favourites are the Scandi Knot and Parkin. My girlfriend loves the savory rolls too. For the full experience, get there early (but not before me) and try the breakfast Focaccia slice or bacon butty. Both incredible. Hidden gem in Keswick.
Fell upon Helvellyn Street Bakery on a trip to Keswick. Sat in and had a lovely coffee and ‘bacon sarnie’ - so tasty! Took a miso white chocolate cookie away with me which was delicious (thanks for the recommendation Peter). I’ll be sure to get a loaf of sourdough on my next visit!
