My story started in December 2024 when I visited Stu for treatment while I waited for surgery- partial knee replacement… we worked on building my strength and correct technique for a year… fast forward to now…. I had my surgery in December 2025 and my recovery has been fantastic! All the work we did before has paid off! 100% recommend Stu he’s got me well on truly on the road to recovery.

Stu is brilliant, he was recommended to me and I would highly recommend him. I badly sprained my right ankle which resulted in pain but n my right knee. My left ankle is fused from an injury a number of years ago, so I need my right leg to weight bear. Stu was personable and easy to talk to. I'm not an athlete but he explained and demonstrated the exercises and I was able to message him to check that I was doing them correctly. After three sessions I'm fitter and stronger than I was before I sprained my ankle. My balance is better and I feel more confident. Thanks Stu! 😁

Went to Stu at Cockermouth Rehab Studio feeling broken and old after 18 months of my back pain being dismissed by my Doctor’s physio. Stu listened to me, explained things clearly and gave me a programme of exercises to start my rehab. He also got my Doctor to refer me for a scan that I needed to confirm what Stu suspected was wrong with my back within the first 20 mins of talking to him. 3 sessions in all and I feel like I am making great progress and importantly understand how to keep my back healthy going forward.
