I visited cockermouth podiatry with an ingrown toenail and chronic knee pain in May earlier this year. After an initial assessment with Freya, she recommended nail surgery and a follow up appointment with Ben, the MSK specialist, to assess the knee pain. Ben gave me options and I opted for the custom insoles. My nail surgery was performed by Pauline and my insoles were given to me on the day of my surgery. After surgery I had a few follow ups/redressing with Freya and the final consultation yesterday with Adele and Ben. Before I visited I was in constant pain and struggling with most left leg movements, now I feel that I’m almost back to normal. The whole team were absolutely excellent start to finish and the service was second to none. I always felt that I was in highly capable hands throughout the full process. With the business being family ran you really feel welcomed and comfortable, and it really helps that all the staff are good company. I really couldn’t recommend them enough, my toe pain has completely gone and my knee pain has reduced by at least 90%. If you’ve got any problems with your feet I would definitely get in touch them. 10/10.
Oh my goodness ! Having recently relocated to the area, I was keen to find a registered podiatrist who could match my previous good experiences. Cockermouth Podiatry exceeded those expectations in every single way. The facilities, the staff and their focussed approach to overall foot care and general wellbeing was refreshing to experience. A fantastic service , and Gaia, you were a credit to your mum and your profession.
