We absolutely loved our visit to this farmhouse café! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing full of flavour and beautifully presented and the drinks were just as good. What really made our visit special was how dog-friendly this place is. We have quite a big dog who’s our biggest baby, and a lot of places aren’t always great with him. But here, the staff went above and beyond they came over to say hello, gave him a little fuss, told us how lovely he was, and just made such an effort to make him feel welcome. They were so kind and genuine, and it honestly meant so much to us. It’s not often you find somewhere that makes both you and your dog feel so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous cafe, we love this place. Wheelchair accessible. Stunning views, peacocks roaming around. Delicious food every time. Christmas menu now available. We had meals from specials board today, we had festive loaded fries and brie and cranberry quiche. Highly recommended. Can get busy, so book if you don't want to be disappointed. Friendly welcoming staff. Dogs allowed too.

Our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. We walked in from Cockermouth on a rainy Sunday morning for breakfast with our cockapoo, Winnie who was made to feel really welcome. Nice location, really good food, lovely staff. 5 stars.
