We went around 10:00 am and I found that it was extremely clean and a well looked after primark . Then it started to get extremely crowded with people putting their rubbish on the floor and other places . One thing I would suggest would be to have rubbish bins in places . There is a cafe, a barber shop and a beauty salon all in it ! I don’t know how there are though . It is mostly self checkout with a few cashiers. The place is not very well signed in the inside . For the brand itself , I would say it was a cheap , fast fashion brand who changes clothes nearly every week . It has gotten a lot more expensive over years ,reaching up to where leggings in Next were cheaper than in primark ! I would have never imagined that ! Overall it’s a good place to go early in the morning where not a lot of people are there .
It was my first visit to the Primark in Manchester, and overall, I had a mixed experience. The store itself is very large, bright, and well-organised with a huge range of clothing and accessories for all ages. There’s a good variety of items and some great prices, which I really appreciate. It’s definitely a good place if you want to do some quick shopping or browse for fashion essentials. However, one thing that really disappointed me was the lack of clear information about customer toilets. When I asked the security guard if there was a toilet, he said there wasn’t one and suggested I go outside to Burger King. I walked around but couldn’t find any sign indicating toilets either. Later, someone told me that there’s actually a coffee shop inside the store where a toilet is available, but there were no clear signs or directions about this anywhere. It would be helpful if Primark could add visible signs or make their staff aware of the facilities available to customers. Small details like this make a big difference to the shopping experience, especially in such a busy city-centre store.
Absolutely terrible customer service. I bought a pair of shoes from Primark and accidentally picked the wrong size. When I went back to return them, they refused, claiming the shoes were worn — which is completely false. They then had the audacity to say it was my fault for buying the wrong size. I have never been treated this badly over a £20 item in my life. This isn’t about the money, it’s about how poorly customers are treated. The staff were extremely unprofessional. The guy at the till could barely communicate properly and immediately called the manager instead of handling the situation. The manager was even worse — instead of listening, he started arguing and repeatedly blamed me for buying the wrong size. No professionalism, no customer care, no basic manners. I still have the shoes as proof that they were not worn, yet they purposely refused my return. If anyone from Primark management is reading this, you seriously need to look into the behaviour and training of your staff at this store. I will be taking this further and formally complaining to higher management. Completely unacceptable experience. I will think twice before shopping here again.
