I mistakenly stood on my glasses this morning. The lens popped out and the wire frame was bent. A complete disaster! We are on holiday, so I sort out a local optician to see if any repair was feasible. Bruce Avery Optomerist, in Cockermouth was the nearest. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly smiling faces and a positive attitude. My glasses were damaged, but their skill set managed to repair and reinsert the lens.
