The supermarket is fine and has a wide selection of options. However my issue is with the cashier. My items costed me £9.26 and I gave the cashier £10.30 expecting to receive £1.04 change. As I made my way to my van, I checked my receipt to find 77 pence change? Upon checking my receipt the cashier typed in £10.03 into the till. I was so confused as to why would I hand over £10.03 and not just £10? Simple maths Lidl of Cockermouth!!! Anyhow I couldn't be bothered returning into the shop to explain this simple calculation!! It's such a disaster that these people have to rely on a calculator to work things out, (simple calculations as I was both making her job easier and supplying her till with change) they cannot even operate these machines correctly!!! More attention to detail is required and less rush, rush through their tills!!!
Very tidy and well organised store. We got all our basic food shop for a holiday break here. Got 10% off end of month coupon too!!
Excellent value for money as usual. Easy parking. Produce and goods well organised onto aisles.
