Just as wonderful as every other Aldi out there, just the typical one, cheap prices, pleasant staff as always, most random things in offers, all aldis are very generic with simple neseceties. The Aldi brands are just as good as the named brands whilst being 10 times cheaper. Overall very good 4 stars.
Always shopped at Aldi at Cockermouth, found staff helpful at friendly. Until yesterday, when I heard two staff Criticize a disabled pensioner because he was recycling something and hadn,t put it in their bin properly. Their words ,were," He,s not that disabled he couldn,t put it in the bin properly,". And they were laughing . Disgraceful. Why didn,t they help him. I,m not the only one who heard them. They should think, they might find themselves in that position one day. If thats the way you train your staff Aldi, you need to sort it out. Don,t think i,ll be in your Cockermouth shop again.
Staff at the self-checkouts had me sorted before I even had to try and catch their eye like you have to do everywhere else and it was SO refreshing!! Great staff, I asked another member of staff something and they were super helpful and sorted me with expert knowledge.
