This is a brilliant place. I needed somewhere to work for the day and paid a very reasonable pay-as-you-go fee for the day. The gentleman who owns it is a kind, friendly chap who made me feel welcome and at home straight away. It is great to work in such a glorious, old, high-ceiling building, but the inside has been furnished in a colourful, modern way to make it ideal for working/meetings. Parking for the day in one of Cockermouth’s car parks was very easy and a 5 min walk away. There seems to be a lovely community of workers here - I’ll come back whenever I can and be sure to recommend it. Thank you
Such a lovely space to work! And dog friendly too. I started using this space as I was getting too distracted at home, my productivity has over doubled! It is an open plan office so do expect the occasional phone call and chatter, everyone is very respectful. Its an old building so bring a big jumper in winter. Great location to stretch your legs by the river, lots of independent cafes, lunch places, pubs and shops too, as well as good sized supermarkets nearby.
