Welcomed our little pooch and even gave him some slices of sausage when bringing him a water bowl. Pleasant staff. Good grub. Will call again.
Well the food looked very nice but it wasn’t at all pie was very salty and no pie pastry to it or very little. gravy had bits in it and at the bottom of gravy pot there was this big white thing and it made my husband feel sick I ordered a jacket potato and I couldn’t eat it as there was a horrible taste in the potato and I asked for beans on it with ham with the salad I got cooked bacon in with the beans which was not nice and I could see the cooks hands all over the food as he was putting it out on the chips and everything and on the salad no gloves at all the only thing was nice was the tea and coffee £27 pounds and we left it as it was so bad 😧 staff didn’t ask how the food was but I think they knew 🤢
Left feeling quite upset after the attitude we received from the lady serving us. We felt like an inconvenience, when asking for something as simple as sweeter, it was returned with a snapped reply. We were made to change tables after wanting to sit by the window because she had laid a table that was right in-front of the kitchen. (The cafe was empty) We asked for white toast and received brown, when we asked she just walked away. As we left saying thank you, she visibly rolled her eyes at us. The bistro in the hotel is 100x better quality, value and service don’t waste you time on this place go upstairs!!!
