The alternator on my Jeep gave up the ghost in the Lake District and I was taken to D&L Autobodies (one of the AA preferred repair centres) as they had the capacity to deal with the replacement at short notice. Not an easy feat in these days of Covid and staff shortages! The long and short of the story is Dan and his team bent over backwards to get me back on the road within 24 hours despite DHL doing one of their usual vanishing tricks with the alternator and it turning out the battery had been fried when the alternator went dodgy. Replacement battery ordered, delivered and installed within 40 minutes! 😲 More than 100% happy to recommend Dan and D&L who were friendly, professional, efficient and well priced. Only wish I lived closer so I could use his autobody services too. Cheers Dan 👍
Ripped me off totally. They repainted a panel of my classic car (using the wrong paint finish) and scratched all the chrome trim with their buffer, then refused to take any responsibility, advising me to 'paint it silver'. Has cost me hundreds to fix.
