I went in to have 2 tyres changed. They gave me an hour slot. I arrived 15 minutes early but wasn’t expecting the car to go in straight away. 15 minutes after the end of my hour slot I asked how long it would be as my car was still in the bay. The guy at reception said 15 minutes, 30 minutes later they were done. The work was done but sitting there for nearly 2 hours was awful. This is not the first time I’ve been waiting ages a Gates’ but is the first time I’ve made a review. Awful experience. Also think the guys in the bays need to remember there are windows all the way around and we can see in from the waiting area, and hear them shouting and swearing at each other.
Called in today without an appointment to see if they could sort out a tyre that had picked up a large srew. Met with a very pleasant chap who offered to sort it out straight away, and within 25 minutes the tyre had been fully repaired and I was only charged £20. Fantastic service offered by friendly staff - highly recommended 👍 KMC (Black X3)
Terrible. Dropped a tyre of 10am Saturday morning asking if it would be ready before closing time. No problem was the reply. Turns out it hadn’t been touched and was still where I left it 4 hours earlier. Time to use another outlet.
