So there is a way OUT of Workington while the only other road out (the one on the roundabout) is closed. Thank God! It's like trying to get out of bloody Royston Vasey in 'The League of Gentlemen'! You'll never get out alive... Thank you, High Harrington. If it wasn't for you, I'd still be going round and round Workington, trying to find another way out... I'll put High Harrington in my satnav to stop me going round and round looking for another way out while my stupid satnat is trying to get me to go BACK to Workington. Maybe they'll finish the roadworks onecday or someone in the local council will have the intelligence (yeah, right!) to put up signs for an alternative route out of this godforsaken place. To all those drivers still trying to get out of the insanity that is the Workington: head for High Harrington!!!! You can escape...
