A historic theatre and arts centre with a full-size stage hosting regular shows, from pantomimes to live bands. The venue has a cafe serving everyday meals and a bar that operates during evening events. Backstage facilities include dressing rooms and ample space for performers. Parking can be found nearby, though availability varies. The theatre is known for events like bodybuilding competitions and tribute acts, with a programme catering to varied interests. Renovations have updated parts of the building, including the cafe area.
Customer Reviews
Visited a couple of times, Food is average. The waitresses honestly are impeccable and very friendly. Unfortunately on both occasions the chef is just so rude to the rest of the staff (very publicly also). The food isn't anything to write home about at all, the atmosphere is lovely and very friendly and the decor is beautiful. Great little hub for the community just a shame the chef has an attitude. I've actually seen older members of staff comforting teenage/young workers because the chef was so rude to her whilst hanging out the kitchen door infront of customers.
Attended a Bodybuilding Show here. Idael Venue for this event. Old Style Theatre that had loads of Amenities. Large Restaurant/Cafe, Bar, plenty of toilets and loads of backstage space and Dressing rooms. Also worth a mention was every single Staff member that I engaged with was super friendly and helpful. Lots of Car Parking within a very short walk away too.
I attended a boy building competition with my husband. It was easy to find and the staff helpful and friendly. Difficult to find parking... but we touched lucky & found a parking lot at the end of the road opposite the centre...£3.50 for 24 hour's.
