About

A modern cinema with spacious reclining seats, each featuring a swing-out tray table for snacks. The screens and sound systems are up-to-date, and tickets can be booked easily online. There’s a selection of cinema snacks available, though some note the nearby Asda as an alternative. The experience leans towards comfort, with many highlighting the seating as a key feature.

Easy to book tickets on the website. Good choice of food from the venders or popin to Asda next door. Screens are excellent, great sound, the smart seats are amazing, with a tray that swings around and the electronic reclining jently rocking backwards then the feet rise up and still with room for people to pass by. With a 1920's feel this cinema is well worth a visit.

Comfortable chairs, great sound quality and picture. Ticket prices were good at £9 ish for a student and £11 for standard adult. Food prices were high but pretty standard for a cinema, and it's next to an Asda which is helpful. Though it's more expensive than other cinemas in the local area, it's definitely worth it. The tray tables were a nice touch too. My only problem (which isn't that deep) was that they don't turn the ceiling lights off during the film, they just dim them. I was sat under a light and I could see it out the top of my eyes the whole film which was slightly unpleasant, so I possibly wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is particularly light sensitive, or if you are then try not to sit in a row with a light above it.

Evening out to watch the new trolls movie thought we would try Parkway, and we were so glad we did! Walking into the cinema it felt great. I didn't feel like we were in Cumbria. The staff were all amazing, very welcoming amazing service with smiles. And great prices!! And then we got to our seats!!! 😲 so so so comfy! And to top it off, they all recline!!! With tables and drink holder per seat want more could you want!! Definitely recommend we will be returning.
