Was recommended this B&B by my dad. Couldn't have stayed in a much cleaner environment. The room was comfortable and at a suitable size, and the bedding was clean. Rita and Alan, were pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. They made sure I was looked after well but also made sure every other guest (at the time) was pleased and that they had everything they asked for. Secure Parking was also another added bonus, as there is a suitable place to park cars with CCTV. It brought comfort knowing my car was safe but also there wasn't a charge for parking, unlike some higher chains. Wifi is free and provided to you if you need it. The speed was excellent and there isn't anything to complain about. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family, if they visit workington, to stay at this establishment as I could not fault Rita and Alan.
An amazing B&B. The owners are fabulous people and can't help you enough. Breakfast was served at whatever time we chose. Even when it was early one morning Rita didn't mind cooking us the full Breakfast. I can't see how anybody could have any problem with this place and for the value i don't think i will find another B&B like it. I can't recommend it enough.
First class, mostly long term or repeat business, other residents were all professional, a dentist, civil engineer, and a power plant manager. If you can get in here prepare to be pampered, from a 5 star breakfast, washing your clothes, even de-iced my car before I went to work, the kettle is always on and Rita's baking is exceptional. A very safe friendly enviroment, a home from home
