We had an issue with a thermostat that keeps the engine of a our Vauxhall Corsa from overheating. The fans were running full time and drinking petrol by the pint. We tried one or two well know garages in the area but they were booked out for weeks. A Google search turned up these guys and we decided to give them a go out of sheer desperation. Admittedly it was a little difficult to find on the industrial estate, but we were soon warmly welcomed and within minutes of checking the engine and the various bibs and bobs, the boss came up with one or two solutions that involved ordering spare parts. Expecting having to wait 2 or 3 days for the parts to arrive, we were told later in the afternoon that the part in question was on its way today. And by 5pm-ish same day, we returned to the garage to be told the part had been fitted and fully tested and were free to take the car home! The journey home was only about 2 or 3 miles but we were very cautious driving, just in case the problem came back. But thankfully it didn't and the following day we ventured further afield without any issues with the thermostat. A very big thanks to these guys and for the very reasonable price. Totally recommended. And above all keep these smaller businesses in business because they tend to try far harder compared to the big nationals.

Wife had a flat and two bald tyres. Took the car to Patty’s and they replaced a valve and 2 new tyres for a very reasonable price the same day, cannot fault them and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend

I never rate places But 5 stars because those guys are good quality and very cheap prices reliable friendly and the whole garage look like a museum from the types of old cars and derby fighters.
