The smell of books is the only good thing here. They're trying to do what Greggs did and pivot intelligently but all you get is 2 for 1 deal on bottles of Pepsi Max which cost you more than the shop next door. WHSmith used to be a great place to go, but now it's a last resort. And the Post Office inside it is usually chronically under-staffed. If all you want to do is drop off a parcel you have to wait in a queue...
Bit dated. Always handy when you need to get stuff for the train. The post office doesn't take up that much room. It is a small and compact nice little shop in the town.
The staff at this long running store are helpful, Bob and Sam are great, and they do 3 for 2 deals on some items which is perfect for our small business. Thanks for the help guys. Would highly recommend
