Why don’t you make the steak and kidney pies any more. Really miss these! You have started making the chicken curry pies now so hopefully you will reconsider and make the steak and kidney ones soon.
Just tried the double stack bacon cheeseburger I thought they were expensive until I tried them the best I’ve ever eaten. large meat and potato pie was lovely also the best Cumberland sausage in the country 10/10 quality I’ll be back that’s for sure thank you haighs
Having lived in whitehaven for 50 years , I've never had a Haighs steak pie (shock, horror). My son in law is Scottish and as is tradition, News Years Day dinner is a butcher made Steak Pie , so on New Year's Day 2023 I had my first taste of a Haighs Steak Pie . All I can say it has not been my last and I buy a family size ( easily feeds 3-4) and its now a regular tea in our household .(to good amd tasty to wait a year to have another !!) Don't be put off by the size , they are packed with mouthwatering melt in the mouth steak, pastry not rich so no heartburn ...paired with chips and peas or mash and veg it's a winner everytime. 🏆
