Kells is a great rugby club, also very open minded people who celebrate diversity and embrace new cultures.
Friendly club. However bar was a disappointment. When asked for tapwater to fill in a bottle, got a response we don't do it here and added exactly a drop of water in to the bottle. The premises that has licence to sell alcohol has legal obligation to ensure free tap water is provided.
I attended a funeral service for a friend of mine at Distington Crematorium and thereafter at Kells ARLFC. There was adequate seating for everybody and a very pleasant young lady behind the bar, which was very reasonably priced. There was a nice, plentiful variety of food provided, and it was a credit to the person(s) who provided it.
