About

This spa features a pool, sauna, and steam room, all maintained to a clean standard, with the pool noted for its comfortable temperature. Guests can access lockers and slippers as part of their visit. The spa occasionally operates with voucher deals, including packages that combine access to the pool, sauna, steam room, and gym, sometimes accompanied by a complimentary prosecco. It is situated within a hotel, making it convenient for those combining a spa visit with an overnight stay. The facilities cater to both solo visitors and groups, providing a straightforward spa experience without additional features like a jacuzzi.

Hubby and I first went in November for spa and facilities, used vouchers from our wedding, had a really nice experience, booked before we left to go again in January, paid around £100. I said it’ll be something to look forward to in the new year. I was poorly and not well enough to go and enjoy it, I couldn’t help picking up an infection, I didn’t want to spread it around (NHS worker here) but this was less than 48hr cancellation (100% charge) which could not have been avoided. I asked to rebook for when I felt better, was denied request, no concern for my welfare. We don’t spend much time and money treating ourselves because I work such long hours looking after others so this has meant not only have we lost our £100, but we have completely lost the opportunity to spend a rare day out together during a cost of living crisis. Extremely disappointed with customer service and understanding provided.

Spa was lovely but they don't advise you that if you go over 4 hours parking you get a ticket for £100 from Parking Eye. We should have been told this at reception, especially as the spa asked if we had been before, and we hadn't. The sign outside doesn't mention 4 hours, nor does the spa confirmation booking details. This is clearly used to make more money as spa says there is nothing they can do to help!! Stay clear unless you want an extra fine. I was going to return as the spa was relaxing, but I will never use any of their facilities again. Disgusting way to treat clients, AND I AM DUSPUTING THIS!!!

Really decent spa. Perfect for a duo or solo. The pool is a good size and good temperature. The spa is very nice and warm too. The ‘access spa’ package came with the pool, a sauna, a steam room and a gym and a free complimentary drink and snack (we chose rose Prosecco and cake). They gave us a white robe and slippers. Spent 3 hours there. Only slight downside is that there was no actual changing room, (only a room with showers toilets and lockers all in one) so had to get changed in the toilets, which isn’t really a problem unless the place is busy. Overall, a very positive experience. Would recommend and go again :) and very good for the price!
