One of the best fish and chips I ever have. The place runs by a family of which, in my perspective, established in years. Cod and haddock were the main dishes in the menu. We tried both. Fresh fillet and crispy batter were lightly salted. Overall taste was just perfect. There were few seats that can accommodate not more 10 guests. Dining in could be crowded at sometimes. Highly recommended.
First time here, I ordered haddock chips and spicy curry £11.70 lady asked if I wanted tartar sauce free of charge.The fish was cooked to order, had a great crisp batter with lovely flaky haddock, chips were lovely as well, and the curry was spot on.great meal great food great value.
Arrived around 1115am. Greeted with a warm welcome and freat suggestions by the staff behind the counter. Excellent cod! Chips and mushy peas. Always a joy to have a meal here. Highly recommend.
