Wasn't overly impressed with the fish and chips. The chips were more like the size of wedges and the fish was dead greasy. Personally I prefer a crispy batter and it was far from that. The fish was on the small side and didn't look pleasing but the curry sauce was decent.
So far best chippy this side of Manchester! Been 4 times now at different times of the day and the food is great. Staff are very welcoming and the bartered Oreo’s are surprisingly good!
Generally good food and generous portions. Service can be slow but appreciate it’s busy on a popular high street and staff are trying their best. However, there have been several occasions where items on a takeaway order are missing. Ordered recently and battered sausage and gravy were missing, feel cheated of almost a fiver. Will be returning but hoping accuracy and speed of service can improve.
