McDonald’s at St Ann’s Square is open 24/7, making it somewhere you can go for a light bite even during unsociable hours. I’ve visited this particular location a lot during the past couple of years, and I’ve had many good and bad experiences. Food is usually OK, although I have had issues here and there with the temperature of the food. On two occasions, I’ve ordered my burger without the bun, and they’ve actually served it without the meat patty. I did find it funny that they’d laid everything out in the box nicely and forgotten the patty though, and this issue was quickly rectified when bringing it to the staff member’s attention. During less busy periods, when they can actually get the food hot and have enough time to take care, it can actually be pretty good here, and I’ve had burgers which I’ve genuinely enjoyed more than burgers I’ve paid a lot more for. But there are generally day-to-day inconsistencies with the standards and how the burgers are prepared. The staff seem friendly enough and they do try to keep the restaurant area clean, although it can get really busy during peak times so the waiting area can feel crowded. Luckily, they have recently re-introduced table service, which makes things a little easier. A recurring problem which I’ve noticed for some time now and which never appears to be fixed are the malfunctioning touch-screen kiosks — they always seem to be out of paper and unable to print receipts, or there are issues scanning my voucher codes from completing the survey. So I usually like ordering at the counter or via the McDonald’s App at this one. Overall, for a McDonald’s this is above average for sure, but work could be done on improving consistency and the touch-screen kiosks.

Usually when I go it’s actually decent and they get my order right, until one time I got a Big Mac… Check the bun out, says enough lol Staff are nice though

ABSOLUTELY VILE DISGUSTING PLACE I've been on 3 separate occasions over last year ONLY for a coffee. This was approx 3 weeks ago, and forgot to put up this review. Every time, The stench of urine is unbelievable. How do people sit in here eating 🤮 Approx 8.30am when it's quiet, Soon as you walk past the stairs, it's disgusting. So this time round I took pics for proof and not a false fake review comments. I sat near the main door ordering a coffee, due the vile smell and clearly unclean area and stench of urine coming from downstairs toilets, which I wanted to use. I didn't after what I saw. Urine all over, thrown drink, pubes and the smell. Clearly not been cleaned for days. The floor and tables upstairs are disgusting, sticky messes, blue bottles galore when it's a cold normal day Anyway I mention to manager about the mess, and she called over one of female workers whom was wiping for the floor for past 10 minutes NOT ONCE using fresh clean water from bucket (which remained near kitchen). She doesn't go to the mop bucket but proceeds to go downstairs to toilets and I assume clean 😂 She was gone a minute at most and came back up and that was it. DO NOT GO HERE, HEALTH AND SAFETY WOULD HAVE A FIELD DAY. Staff lazy, incompetent and clearly scruffs
