This place is an absolute gem! After a disappointing experience in Newcastle, we decided to stop in Manchester on our way back to Birmingham and visit Fenix – currently the only one in the UK. Having been to Tattu before and loving both the food and service, our expectations were high… and wow, this place did not disappoint. The service was absolutely on point, just like you’d expect from a top-tier establishment. The atmosphere was incredible – super chilled and relaxed with great music in the background, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Now onto the food – it truly exceeded our expectations. From the grilled octopus to their signature beef pasta, every single dish was a solid 10/10. It’s not Greek in the classic, traditional sense – and that’s what makes it so special. Their fusion twist brings something truly unique to the table. To top it off, we were really well looked after by the team and even received some complimentary sides – now that’s real hospitality. Huge thanks to the team at Fenix! If you don’t open a branch in Birmingham, we’ll still definitely be making the trip back just for this experience. Highly recommend!
Wonderful meat and fish selections. Steak was beautiful. Great service and atmosphere. Drinks were lovely, wine was amazing - especially the red! Would’ve liked more than one type of rum behind the a bar tho, but that’s me being picky. Not great place for vegans, but that’s expected since this place is Greek. Would recommend, but quite pricey and small portions.
8 of us ladies had such a great experience at Fenix Manchester today, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter Joe H! From the moment we sat down, he was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He knew the menu well, gave thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times very attentive. . What really stood out was that he asked whether we were celebrating anything. When we mentioned it was a birthday, he surprised us with a beautiful “Happy Birthday” handwritten in chocolate on a big dessert plate, along with chocolates for the table. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel extra special. The service truly matched the high standard and atmosphere of Fenix, polished, friendly, and memorable. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable and we’ll definitely be back!
