About
A small but well-stocked Marks & Spencer Simply Food at Manchester Airport, with a focus on grab-and-go options for travellers. The selection includes meal deals with high-protein choices like nuts, seeds and kefir drinks, alongside salads and bakery items. Self-checkout machines are available, and the shelves hold a varied range of food and drink, including a notable wine selection. While prices reflect the airport location, there are occasional bargains to be found.
Customer Reviews
This Marks and Spencer, though small, has a surprising amount of variety given the limited shelf space. I was impressed with the wine selection, in fact, and was expecting there to be only a quarter or less of what was on offer (though the prices could be better in that regard). But you can't do a proper grocery shopping as there is next to no produce (just some raspberries and blueberries) and absolutely no meat available. It's for quicker conveniences, but it serves that purpose well enough. The staff tend to ignore me, but I'm not really there to be dazzled with customer service (and they're never rude).
Great store filled with lots of on the go and take home products. Love the meal deal which has lots of high protein options, especially the little bag of nuts and seeds. Nice salad options and kefir protein drinks. There is always some reduced items too here at this store which is nice to see. They have the usual bakery with the outstanding items, at 5am in the morning everything was being freshly baked and it all smelt amazing! Friendly staff and lots of self check out machines which made it very fast.
Visited this morning at 2am after arriving on a flight. The service was absolutely disgusting I waited outside with the suitcases whilst my wife went in a grabbed a few bits with our children. It wasn't busy at all. She had trouble scanning most of her items on one of the self service tills. A member of staff stood watching her struggle and didn't offer any assistance. One item in particular wouldn't scan at all so she put it to one side but it and it slid off the side onto the floor. He shouted at her 'not to throw' the item onto the floor. I could see his aggressive manner from where I was waiting outside so I made my way over with the cases. I asked her if she was OK and was she receiving great customer service from this M&S employee?. My youngest started to cry as her turned on me. Wrong thing to do pal..... It turns out that this particular self service till is slow at scanning products!!!!!. No sorry, no help at all, he just stood there, he must have been tired, lazy of both. Definitely not the service you'd expect from M&S. We are very frequent flyers but will never use this shop again manchester airport T2 arrivals.
