This bakery honestly made my little girl’s day. After seeing their Christmas menu on social media, she couldn’t wait to try it and she came home with the biggest smile. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. It really is the little things that count. Can’t recommend them enough and we’ll definitely be regulars from now on. ❤️

As someone whose always hesitant to get a pastrybas vegan ones are unfortunately normally a disappointment... Half Dozen has trully changed my mind. It's busy, packed with no where to sit, quiet loud... But damn they're bakes are good. Out of 7 I've only had one flop. Also they do a super nice vanilla matcha and coconut coffee, it does suck that milk alternatives and ice are extra and so is syrup so a basic syrup. They have monthly specials and always one or two vegan ones!

It’s 50:50. On one hand, you have innovative Viennoiserie that’s up there in the top echelons of Manchester bakeries, a willingness to try new things and oodles of parking. On the other hand, it is a fair trek to get to and is a destination in and of itself. And there’s that coffee… My sample of the pistachio was very Dubai Chocolate sans Kunefa. A touch of pistachio creme in a pain au chocolat. The cheese, leek and marmite danish was packed with umami and scored top marks from a person who hates marmite. I’m looking forward to going back but not for the coffee.
