Genie laundry are absolutely amazing and life savers. I’m a bridesmaid at a wedding tomorrow and ended up with a stain on my satin dress. They were able to emergency dry clean my dress in a matter of hours. The lady there even stayed past her finishing time to ensure my dress was ready! Thankyou! Thankyou!!!
Absolutely do not understand why other people rated this place 5 stars. Charged me £30 for a wash and fold and the woman acted very annoyed that I’d even turned up. The clothes haven’t even been through the wash, they smell and as seen in the photo the bedding is still covered in makeup (it doesn’t stain it just literally needs to be washed for it to come off). When I went to pick up the clothes I had to convince the girl that my washing hadn’t just walked there by itself and I had in fact brought it in a bag. Avoid this place, £30 for just a couple bits to not even get washed is so bad. Very disappointed.
I visit this laundry once a week, and overall, the services are very good. The machines and dryers are always clean and well-maintained, which makes the experience convenient and reliable. However, I have noticed an issue with two of the staff members who behave quite rudely and unprofessionally. They are often on their phones even when customers are present, which gives a poor impression. On the other hand, not all the staff are like this. Two employees — an older woman and a chubby girl — stand out for their excellent service. They are always polite, respectful, and professional. They go out of their way to assist customers and explain how to use different services, which makes the laundry experience much more pleasant. Overall, the laundry itself is great, but the management should address the attitude of a couple of staff members to ensure consistently good customer service.
