A very professional amazing artist she completely makes me feel fabulous. My nails were on for nearly a month just a really good experience with my girl and I highly recommend you come and get your nails done with her. Absolutely love this place!! Super friendly staff that make you feel at home Big up to Alana! She's done about 4 of my tattoos already and always buzzing to get more from her. Her own style is awesome, and is happy to get out of her own style to try others. In love with my sleeve and can't wait to get it finished! My go-to tattoo artist Big up to Teagan! Always happy and bubbly, and makes people feel comfortable very quickly even when nerves kick in. My go-to hairdresser! 11/10 can't recommend The Shallows enough
I'd been debating a tattoo for a while. I'd seen some of Paul's designs and really liked the style of his work, so I booked an appointment with him for a flash tattoo. I can't thank Shallows and Paul my tattoo artist enough. The whole experience was great. I contacted Paul via Get Ink and we agreed a convenient time slot. On the day Paul was waiting with different sizes of the designs I'd picked. I'd chosen 2 designs for my lower leg/calf. He explained which size would work best and why. And once we'd agreed a design size, Paul showed me how they would look so we could agree placement. Paul made really great recommendations on size and placement but wasn't pushy. As these were my first tattoos Paul explained what I could expect to feel and which areas of my calf would be more sensitive. He was really patient at explaining the details, so that I understood and that really made me feel at ease. As a 50 something man, I was really nervous about getting a tattoo but I realise now that I needn't have been. The studio is really quirky and relaxing which helped me relax. But it was Paul with his clear explanations and patient, professional attitude that really helped. If anyone is considering a tattoo I would definitely recommend Shallows and I would 100% recommend choosing Paul (@thekeenanone - Instagram) as your tattoo artist. He's got some really quirky, queer and cute designs. I really love my ghost and mouth tattoos. Big up to Paul - thanks for your patience and professionalism. Update Sunday 1 February. The second photo is my great new tattoos now that I've removed the second skin dressing. Paul contacted me both days to check how my new tattoos were doing and I sent him photos. He replied to say everything looked in order. And today he said I could remove the dressing let them heal. I am so impressed with the level of service, professionalism, communication and Paul's passion for his art really shines. He's a credit to SHALLOWS. Will I be back? Yes and I'd book Paul again without a second thought.
