About
This colourful public sculpture pays tribute to Vimto, a soft drink with roots in Manchester. Depicting a bottle and its ingredients, including raspberry, the wooden monument stands as a quirky nod to local history. Situated in a central location, it’s within walking distance of the station and serves as a free landmark for passers-by. While its weathered appearance reflects years of exposure to Manchester’s climate, it remains a recognisable and iconic piece of public art. Visitors often stop by when nearby, particularly in fair weather, to appreciate this unique tribute to a beloved drink.

One of the better Vimto statues I've seen, though definitely scope to add a fizzy Vimto can
Iconic tribute to Manchester History! Colourful statue of Vimto and its ingredients. Free landmark. Central location, within walking distance of the station. Only recommend visiting if nearby and in good weather. Not in a significant area, just on a patch of grass next to the university. Instagram Links: Reviewed @cesamargaux
I’m not British and I don’t know what Vimto is, but public art is cool. I thought it was a bottle of soy sauce from far away.
