I booked two nights here for a city-break in Manchester, and of course it was cheap and I didn't expect much from it. The room itself is preety small and dated, it was preety clean when I got there, bed a bit small for two people, but overall fine. The shower door didn't fully close, same as the window, and also the TV didn't turn on. My main concern is the staff asking for our credit card details as a way to have a security measure in case we broke something, it seemed very suspicious, because we paid online, so they had our card data from that, but when we got there, we had to give it to recieve the room key. The biggest positive is the location, preety close to the city center, it is a bit noisy from the street next to it being busy all the time, but overall it was okay.
Stayed here for a weekend . Found it easy enough through the sat nav. Got a parking space which we paid for . Car was safe enough. Not far from the town centre took about 10 minutes . Room really clean bathroom small but enough for what we needed. |Bed was soft but comfortable. |Wasn’t impressed with the noisy guests on the same floor being super loud early hours of the morning . |Breakfast was good and served hot . |Staff super friendly . |Would stay again
We stayed at the Stay Inn in Manchester and overall had a good experience. The location is definitely the best part — it’s within walking distance of the city centre and really handy for the arena, which made getting around very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful during check in, and the room was clean on arrival.||That said, the rooms and bathrooms are quite small, and the hotel itself feels a bit basic. It was fine for a short stay, but not the most comfortable for longer visits. There was also some noise at night, which might bother lighter sleepers.||Overall, it’s a decent budget option if you want a convenient base in Manchester, especially for events, but don’t expect anything fancy.
