About
This multi-storey car park near St Peter’s Square is centrally located, making it a practical choice for visitors heading into Manchester. The space is well-lit, with clear pedestrian routes and CCTV coverage. Parking bays are set between brick arches, though some drivers note the tight spacing. Payment is handled via machines, which issue digital receipts. Its proximity to events at Manchester Central makes it a frequent choice for concert-goers.
Customer Reviews
Excellent car park, easy to find, well lit and convenient. Only challenge is the tight spaces between the arches. Several times I have found a car parked so close to me that I had to get in via the boot!
I recently parked at this NCP in central Manchester and had an awful experience. My car was broken into from the inside without any signs of forced entry. There was no broken glass, and I am absolutely certain the car was fully locked. My dash camera (a New Perfume model) was taken along with personal belongings. This happened during a short overnight stay in Manchester, and I had no choice but to drive four hours back to Milton Keynes the next day, already stressed and dealing with the situation. I do not recommend parking here. The lack of security and the way this incident happened is extremely concerning. For the high prices NCP charges, I expected proper safety measures, unfortunately, that was not the case.
Overpriced massively, narrow spaces and narrow lanes for turning. Lack of security essentially because of the number of walls inside the space. The machine does not give you a physical receipt for your parking, you have to be ready with your phone to scan a QR code, which is fine I guess but the code goes off screen very quickly!!! How are you supposed to know that it's going to offer you a QR code? By the time I got my phone from my pocket and opened the camera app the code was gone. Ended up with this photo of the prices instead and the look of disappointment on my colleagues face as she also realised what just happened.
