A central tram stop on Manchester’s Metrolink network, St Peter’s Square is surrounded by a mix of historic and modern architecture. The square itself features monuments and well-maintained public spaces, with trees adding greenery. Nearby restaurants and the regular tram service make it a practical spot for visitors. Some historical sites in the area reflect Manchester’s heritage. The square is a convenient transport hub, with day passes available for travel within the central zone.

Great Place to visit when tourimg Manchester. It is always kept clean including the floors, monuments and buildings. The square has great restaurants surrounding it and is a calm environment except from the tram passing through it. Ive took a couple photos as it's nice to have on your device.
Lovely place to visit even if it is only to have a rest, also the architecture is beautiful
I live nearby and come to St Peter's square almost every day. Despite a mix of old and new building, it doesn't hurt my eyes. Skaters are a bit annoying but tolerable. Trees are nice, though as the city itself, the square could do with more green. There used to be the Peace Garden (with, admitedly, one of the ugliest statues I've ever seen) but then demolished it to move the cenotaph in its lieu. On some days there's quite a lot of rubbish lying around. The saxophonist is a cool feature of the square.
