Customer Reviews
Had fish and chips platter with peas and curry, with tartar sauce, and diet coke. After had a cappuccino. Good portion on plate, tasted good enough. The peas a little cold. But not worth sending back. Overall a good meal in a clean and tidy place. Downside I think the price for what is a limited menu is expensive £18 for the food, then drinks on top. That being said they had a special offer of half price on meals Monday to Friday throughout January. So that balances out the regular cost. Atmosphere is pleasant enough and staff where friendly. As for access parking is on street only and limited. Disabled access whilst I didn't ask about other entrys the doors I used had a few steps. Overall a decent place to grab a meal and drink, while offering a discounted menu,
A local recommended the delicious fish and chips, so I visited. It was a weekday happy hour, so the place was packed. The food was delicious, especially with the pea sauce. However, when I tried to pay, the server didn't apply the beer to the happy hour discount and instead quoted the total bill. I explained that it wasn't part of the happy hour discount, and they adjusted the total bill. Maybe it was because I was a tourist, but I wasn't feeling particularly good about it.
Personally this was a little find just when it was needed. Got a little alcove of a seating area with my company and ordered food and drinks. I think the photos say it all however if they don't appeal then I suggest you go in and try out their great menu. I haven't recommended any of the dishes as this is a personal choice.
